michael jackson did not get plastic surgery to become white. he had a disease called vitiligo which causes depigmentation of the skin, so basically it causes spots all over ur body. michael tried to hide it with make up at first but then it got worse. so he had to resort to using something to even out his skin tone. he didnt want to be white. he had no choice

I think the reasoning had to do with is perception of the music world, or the world at large, hence the meaning for his lyric: “doesn’t matter if your black or white”….whatever the color, he is, and always will be the greatest entertainer this world has ever seen…a person with his entertainment caliber comes along once every hundred years…we were truly lucky to have been around to see such spectacular things being done…the videos, the creativity, all of it …truly in a class by itself….

No Michael didn’t have plastic surgery to become white,
don’t forget that Michael was black like me with his nappy afro and his dark carmel skin.
He had vitligo, universal. (i just saw this girl the other day walk past me with universal viligo)
Now if I had vitligo, universal especially and if I had the money i would change my skin to an even tone. But I’d still be a sista.
